Lower back pain is a very common symptom of the sciatica condition. Including this one, leg pain, hip pain, tingling, weaknesses, numbness in the leg are the common signs of the sciatica.

Normally sciatica condition affects those who are living a sedentary lifestyle. This condition also affects athletes because of extreme training and muscles stiffness. Aging is another risk factor; it is observed by the experts that people between the ages of 30-60 are more often experience herniated disks, bone spurs and joint dysfunction problems. And these problems are directly linked with the sciatica. Apart from that, overweight and diabetes are also considered as contributors for the sciatica as per expert reports.

Treatment of Sciatica
The first line treatment of sciatica is physical exercises and yoga poses. But affected persons are still unable to get relief from the pain then they can take medications.  For the quick pain relief, doctors are mostly suggested anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants, steroids and antidepressants. The anti-inflammatory medicines are helps to reduce the inflammation and muscles relaxants are helps to loosen muscles which are tighten by sciatica.
